We are the Soul Band, an entertaining and reliable group of young musicians with nine years (thirteen contracts) of experience onboard Cruise Ship Vessels. We have performed across the USA & Canada East Coast, Caribbean Sea, Mediterranean Sea, North Europe, South America, West and East Africa and Indian Ocean to an audience of American, Latin, British, Spanish, Italian, French, German and South American passengers among others.

Passengers & us
We have great interaction with the passengers when we play on the Ship´s Theater, Lounges, Dancing rooms and Pool Parties. Our repertoire includes English, Spanish, Latin, Italian, German and French songs and it is designed to entertain all ages and it is in constant evolution to satisfy the needs of each season.

We have performed with Guest Artists on MSC Cruises and as the Live Band for the show “The Voice” onboard Costa Cruise Vessels, coaching guests and playing with them during their live presentations on the main theater.

Soul Band is a five piece international group led by Ivan Soule. Each member provides unique and multicultural music knowledge and language abilities which allows us to adapt and please the audience.

We pride ourselves for been a fully live band, no backing tracks or sequences, just live music. We are passionate about our craft and we want to share it with the audience.
Our repertoire?
Rock, Pop, Disco, Latin, top 40s and more. We will adapt to the audience’s expectations.

I have been playing onboard Cruise Ships since the year 2016 and it has been the adventure of my lifetime. With the Soul Band I have a blast every time I get to go on stage and perform the evergreen songs that brings happiness to peoples hearts. Together with Ellen, Cleiton, Ana & Henrique we are more than just a band, we are a family away from home
Ellen Soulé
Bass player
Hey there, I’m Ellen, the bass player of this amazing band since 2021. Music was always present in my life, moving through my body. I always loved dancing and tried different instruments, but when I found the bass we just became instant best friends. The last years with The Soul Band have been a blast and I’m looking forward to all the stages we can light on fire together!
Cleiton Ely
Drummer
I started playing drums when I was 16 and I was hooked by it. I worked with Brazilian bands and big instrumental formations. Since the year 2021 I play with the Soul Band performing on Cruise Ships for passengers from all over the world.
I’m grateful to have the opportunity to turn my passion into my livelihood and to improve my skills by providing energy and creativity to the team

I’m a singer with experience in bands in Brazil and I joined the Soul Band in 2025. For me, music is a very genuine form of expression, through which people sing, dance and connect on a deep level, sharing emotions and experiences that transcend cultural and social barriers. With the Soul Band, I’m excited to create unforgettable moments and inspire my audience with the passion and energy that music provides me.

Hello, my name is Henrique, but people call me Henry. I am a Brazilian Pianist full with passion for music and traveling the world and that’s why since the year 2022 I’ve been living this amazing adventure of playing onboard Cruise Ships with the Soul Band.
